Our mission is above all, to have fun by sharing
and celebrating an activity which is as mentally,
physically, and creatively challenging as it is
ultimately rewarding.
Next, and equally important, is our desire and
commitment to create a unique, educational, and
entertaining presentation suitable for all occasions and
for the whole family to enjoy.
Our direction and inspiration come from compelling
rhythms and dances dating from antiquity, nurtured on
the shores of the Mediterranean and banks of the Nile.
Dances which are performed even today in North Africa
and the Middle East at weddings, celebrations, and
family gatherings are our resources.
Our resolve is to research, recreate, and represent
elements of these delightful dances both authentically
folkloric and/or stylized in the "from the heart" spirit
from which they originally evolved.
